External Connection Frustration

Well I'm trying to get this to work on my Windows XP pro machine to my HTC Evo. I've been able to get it to work over wifi but when I try and access my server over the internet it doesn't work. In Network settings when i assigned the name to my network server it tells me that the name is registered but it could not connect to it (ConnectionTimeoutException). However right above that it tells me that it successfully forwarded port 80. I have a WRT54G2 and in the settings on it I've set port 80 to foward as well. On the EVO like I said I'm able to connect over wifi but not over 3G. Under the server name do all I need in that box is http://xxnamexx.subsonic.org ? Or am I missing something? I'm extremely frustrated especially when I see people that have set it up so easily. What am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ok i figured it out. Cox has port 80 blocked so i had to move it some where up high in the ports and now it works perfectly.
