android app 1.5 and lame processes

installed the latest android app, setup the rate limit to 160kbps and now if the stream gets interrupted in any way, subsonic ends up launching a ton of lame processes to transcode the same file over and over, shooting the cpu usage sky high, and bogging down the machine.
