video streaming android 2.2 flash fullscreen size issue

Postby adi » Tue Aug 03, 2010 1:09 pm

hi i've been playing around with subsonic to enable video streaming as detailed in this thread: http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2528

i've got the transcoding working and video streaming pretty well in fullscreeen for computer browers.
However with android 2.2 and flash installed i've been trying to use subsonic to stream to my HTC desire. it's sort of working however the video image seems to be limited to the size of the player set in
Code: Select all
swfobject.embedSWF("<c:url value="/flash/jw-player-5.0.swf"/>", "placeholder", "340", "25", "9.0.0", false, flashvars, params, attributes);
i.e 340width 25height. If I change the player size values to say 800w 480h (screen res of desire) the video will occupy the fullscreen in fullscreen mode but negavtively the actual size of the player in the webpage is set to that size and you can see video in the webpage.

i've tried changing the size values of the swfobject to 100% 100% and also setting scale to noscale as i've read on the internet but to no avail.

any help advice would be appreiciated
thanks
adi
