Connection Issues w/ Moto Droid + Windows XP + LinkSysRouter

also, now that it is on 4040, it cannot be connected even when my droid is on wifi...it did work on wifi when the port was 80

ok somehow i got this to work...im not sure its gonna be good forever, but it works for now...

what i just did was this...turned off manual forwarding...turned on UPnP...set port to 4040....went to Settings>Network, had that forward the port for me, saw the greenleaved.subsonic.org was working...went to the site u posted, said port was opened...

tried on phone...didn't work

changed the address to my IP rather than the subsonic site, http://###.##.###.##:4040

And it works.

No clue why. No clue how. I've tried every combination imaginable, and now it just works.

I'll let you know if it craps out on me...but thanks a lot for your help.

If anyone can figure out what exactly went wrong, I'd love to hear it. Thanks.

I'm glad you got it working. Enjoy subsonic!

I tried out your greenleaved.subsonic.org address and I was able to connect that way. It's possible that you might just need to flush your dns in order to get it working.
