Cover Art problems

This is not a typical problem but it has popped up a few times. The cover art for my files are all embedded I do not have any image files in the folders. The problem I am having is that sometimes for whatever reason, the embedded cover art is not displayed and instead another cover art for a random album is shown instead. For example right now I am playing "Classical Masterpieces Collection" and the cover art it is displaying is for "The Dirty Heads". There is nothing in the folder but the music files and they all have the correct cover art embedded. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've sometimes experienced weird issues like this too. A lot of times, especially on iSub, I'll notice that cover art only partially loads, or loads for the wrong artist like you're saying.

A few things...
- Subsonic will automatically download cover art for albums that don't have it, if you didn't uncheck that checkbox. Maybe it added some folder.jpg's to your folders and you haven't noticed?
- Are you 100% positive that the cover art is correctly encoded on the song? I believe Subsonic looks at the first song in the folder, alphabetically.
- Is it an intermittent problem or does it happen for a specific song every single time?

I don't really have it happen to me on the iSub app. The problem rarely happens but it just did it again. I deleted all the image files in my music folder and it is still happening. This time I get the Grease soundtrack cover for my new Commodores album. What I have noticed is that the Grease album was the last album i added to my collection before I added the Commodores today. It is the only link I can find between the albums.
