Cannot Start the service after upgrade

I had a registered 4.0.1 version of subsonic running quite perfectly until I upgraded to 4.1 tonight. I have lost the ability to start the service at all. The error that I receive is "Could not start the Subsonic service on the Local Computer. Error 1: Incorrect function"

I have already uninstalled the new version and reinstalled again with no change.

Any one dealt with this?

What operating system are you running? Did you install the beta first or just jump from 4.0.1 right to 4.1?

I experienced no issues upgrading to 4.1.
