I have this problem Failed to register web address all the time and also lastfm scrobbler never works, i no iv asked about the lastfm scrobbler before and it was thought to be my firewall but i dont think it is, i think its due to me being behind a proxy, so is there anyway to fix this problem?
i dont see how it can be the firewall blocking it as its all working from outside my network.

What does the subsonic.log file say about your scrobbling attempts?

Im still thinking its due to being behind a proxy..
My firewall is setup to let all outgoing trafic for that server running subsonic.

Maybe. Is it a proxy under your control, or something set up upstream from your Subsonic server?

Not familiar with it. Does it have some sort of packet capturing utility? Could maybe run that whilst Subsonic tries to do its scrobbling thing.

I have the web proxy & firewall logs, thats all really.
There is nothing in the firewall logs to say its blocking that server.
