Random albums update

Hello

On main frame we have random albums displaying with update every 20 seconds
How can I change update time ?

Hi breakolami,

You sure can. All you need to do is edit the "home.jsp" file, which is located in $SUBSONIC_HOME/WEB-INF/jsp/ For my Linux/Tomcat install, this is /usr/share/tomcat6/webapps/subsonic/WEB-INF/jsp/

Open up "home.jsp" in vi or whatever text editor you like. Look for the following line, which for Subsonic 4.1 is Line 8:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="20">

Just change that 20 value to however many seconds you'd like between album art updates. I just changed mine to "30" and it now refreshes every 30 seconds as expected. Don't forget to restart tomcat/jetty/etc. after you edit/save that file.

I found it really annoying when trying to go through and replace cover art. I guess it really should be an option, but this manual fix is good for the moment
