I actually made some progress last night by transcoding a movie to 800X600 flv format @ 24fps, I was able to get a steady output to my pnone over 3G. Now I have to find a way to convert the HDMI out to RCA connectors so I can test it in my wheels.

Very nice. The cable conversion now should be the easy part, albeit not cheap

Looks like my changes for showing the full screen button aren't foolproof (although it's sounding like with the jwplayer, not much is). The button was showing up but now it's disappeared again.

Edit: actually looked up prices for converters (a new phone might be cheaper lol)
