Total number of songs not correct

Postby Basemaster » Sun Nov 04, 2007 12:28 pm

I saw this has been discussed before, but I didnt find an answer. I run the Subsonic 3.2 Windows version (all in one) on Windows XP.
In the Webinterface, the total nr. of songs and nr. of GB does not show 100% correct. I am not sure whether this causes a problem, but it looks like some tuning to Subsonic might be necessary. I have a collection of approx 250GB and Subsonic reports I have 102GB. I set the memory to 192MB.

Anything I can do to correct this?

Hi,

Please check "Settings > General > Music mask" to see if it contains the media types you have.

For further debugging, you can have a look at c:\subsonic\subsonic9.index, which contains a list of all music Subsonic has found.

Hope this helps,
Sindre

Now I see. I have 4 directories specified under Settings/Music Folders. The c:\subsonic\subsonic9.index file only shows the files of the first directory in the list. I verified the directory size, it corresponds to the total numbers shown in the webinterface. The reported size is 102 GB.

So the point now is, why doesnt Subsonic process all directories specified? I doublechecked directory names, they are correct. Also they are enabled. Now when I think of it, I saw this behaviour earlier this week, it seems like only the first specified directory (top of the list) is processed. Is that correct behaviour?
