User database gone

Hey guys,

I upgraded to 4.3 last night (something you shouldn't usually do at 2am, i know), and had some issues from the onset. At first my music database was not detected, i reverted to my backup of 4.2 and reinstalled again, that seemed to correct itself. Now i get the "subsonic is not secured" message on the login page, which indicated none of the user settings have retained.

I am running this as an upgrade from the older standalone system which places stuff in /var/subsonic, then using the deb package which as i understand mostly installs a settings file and the daemon? My previous such upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2 worked fine... is there a settings pointer i am missing?
