Android app cuts off songs on shuffle

I've noticed an odd issue where on shuffling some songs will cut off and skip to the next track about a minute in as though they're not fully downloaded. However, after going back to check the track again manually (by finding the album in the media library) the song is still only partially there, it will play for about a minute then stop, even after refreshing the library.

I've checked the tracks on my home system and on the web server and the track is fine there.

Why does the Android app cut songs off and how to I do a hard refresh of the library to get the full song back?

I can confirm as I have had at least a similar, if not the same, issue myself. It will sometimes play a song and cut it off in the middle of it. Then there's an issue message in the notification bar. This was on a Droid 1 with Android 2.2.
