Subsonic Not Appearing in Systray

I'm having a few issues after updating Subsonic recently. Tonight my computer crashed, and when I booted it back up Subsonic didn't appear in the systray on the task manager. I've restarted the computer multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled subsonic and nothing is working.

Clicking on the "Start Subsonic" icon in the start menu just brings up a command screen for less than a second and then nothing happens. Can anyone help me out with this problem?

Edit: I probably should say that I'm running Subsonic on Windows XP.

Have tried an uninstall/reinstall of Java?

If you do an uninstall of Java and SS and then reinstall both and still have the same problem, you most likely have an OS or hardware problem.

Any clue as to why the system crashed?
