Not able to change settings

Postby wjeppesen » Sun Feb 13, 2011 10:31 pm

I am not able to change the settings in subsonic tray. I want to change the port, but when I try to save it, I get this message.

"Failed to write to file C:\Program Files (x86)\subsonic-service.exe.vmoptions subsonic-service.exe.vmoptions (Access is denied)"

Any thoughts? Also, I cannot get the service to stop by clicking "Stop." Thanks for your help.

I had the same problem today. The problem is I'm not sure what fixed it.
I changed the service to run under a local admin account. I also changed the exe to run as administrator in Windows 7. I also checked permissions on those files too.

I was getting the exact error as you and could not control the service from the tray icon. It is working now and I did not reinstall.
