Not working anymore.

Server shows the following error: Status: [blah].subsonic.org is registered, but could not connect to it. (ConnectTimeoutException)

I reviewed several posts including the one with Monroe's guide and I just can't figure out what has gone wrong.

I tried going to canyouseeme.org and it says it can't see me on port 8080, connection refused.

This all happened after changing my settings to make a wireless extender work. I thought I changed all the settings back after it was set up but I've done something wrong.

If anyone is willing to help me using teamviewer to log into my pc with me, I'll donate to that person via Paypal once I'm back up and running.

You just need to get the port forwarded to the server properly. My son knows how to use team viewer and would be happy to assist if necessary when he gets home from school. Find one of my numerous posts that outline my guidelines.

What router are you using? Did you UNCHECK " Automatically configure your router to allow incoming connections to Subsonic (using UPnP or NAT-PMP port forwarding)."?

Is the server on a static internal IP?

I am still having difficulties with connecting. I'm still willing to pay someone to get this back up and running for me using Teamviewer.

I was able to get AudioGalaxy working without any hassle, but I still would rather have Subsonic.

Check your Private msgs. Your router just needs to be configured properly. What make and model is it?
