Monitoring activity of other users

As an admin, I've been trying to monitor the activity of my users but I'm running into problems.

I notice new players being created with the IPs of my users but when I select them using the drop-down in the bottom pane, nothing appears and the player switches from displaying the name of that user to displaying mine and my IP (as though mine takes ownership and the playlist switches to me)

Is there any way to just view the playlists of others? Also, when I look at the status page, even when there are users connected (usually through the web player) the statistics for any user including myself do not appear.. (I've only noticed my stats displayed once and that was when I was using WMP to stream)

I'm using the beta if that info helps at all
