I was having a problem with my m4a files not playing (not being transcoded correctly, apparently). After changing my transcoding settings to the sample configuration my files stream fine. Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't my default settings match the recommended ones? In this case my default was:
m4a mp3 faad -w %s lame -b %b -x - -
The recommended (and working) is:
m4a mp3 ffmpeg -i %s -f wav - lame -b %b --tt %t --ta %a --tl %l -S --resample 44.1 - -
Thanks

Thank you for the troubleshooting and recommended settings. I was just about to go and convert the few WMA to MP3 so I didn't have this problem (I probably will anyway since I don't have many wma files....old rips from cd's :P). It looks like I didnt have the new transcoder that I added from your recommended transcoding settings checked in the player. thanks a lot!
