Android Playback Error

Postby Cladd » Tue Jun 14, 2011 6:19 pm

I've got a Droid X that I just recently updated to the OTA Gingerbread update.

I've got my server set up, and I can play music fine through the web interface. I can even download the music through the Subsonic app, but whenever it tries to play anything it just throws up a "MediaPlayer error: -19 (0) (Exception)" message.

I'm playing 256kbps mp3s from Amazon mp3 that worked on my old phone (Nexus One stock & cyanogen) (I believe they're VBR)

I tried changing the maximum bit rates in the app, but nothing changes. Any ideas?

More Info:
Subsonic version: 4.4 (build 2169) – February 6, 2011
Server version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_22, Linux (54.1 MB / 98.6 MB)
Hardware Platform: Ubuntu Server 11.04
Problem Filename: 01-Graze.mp3 (one of many files I've tried)

Thanks for that, got it working now. I had replaced the demo credentials with my server's credentials so I reinstalled it again to get them back. Turned out when I reinstalled this time there was a new version, and now it's working. :)
