Renaming Playlists trick?

Why can't I rename my playlists via my Android phone?

Seems a basic need surely?

I also tried on my Subsonic windows server but despite loading a playlist and on doing a save, renaming the playlist it still shows up on the server as the old name.

What's the trick?

Using :
4.4 (build 2172) – February 6, 2011 on Windows 7
jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_26, Windows 7 (31.3 MB / 65.8 MB

and the latest subsonic Android App on a HTC Desire HD running Android v2.3.3.

Try renaming the playlist file itself? /var/playlists on *nix and C:\playlists on Windows... they're just pls and m3u files, if you rename it, the new name should reflect in Subsonic.

Thanks for that.

I guess I can put up with ftping to my Windows PC and editing the playlists from there from my Android.

Just seems kind of techy and inelegant if I wasn't a computer geek.
