*Always* transcode? Stream and download?

I have a large FLAC library. Is there any way to set it so that when users select to Download a song, it will transcode it to mp3, rather than sending the original file? Streaming transcodes work fine, it just downloads as a .flac when users hit download.

This has been requested as a feature, but as yet it is not possible.
