login problem

hello, i went to the setting in the web browser (safari for MAC)

i add the user and the password hit save and when i try to log in on my phone i keep getting the wrong user or password message.... its really making me mad,

please help

I had today the same problem, but the login failed at the web interface, I couldn't login as admin to the web app but it worked fine from my android.

So I restarted the service which is running within ubuntu 10.10 desktop, but it didn't worked neither.

Then I removed the package doing dpkg --purge subsonic but the configuration files at /var/lib/subsonic weren't removed, so to reinstall the package didn't solved the problem.

Then I modified the file subsonic.script as per the instruccions on this site: http://blog.gerke-preussner.de/2010/12/ ... -streamer/

That didn't worked neither... So I assumed that the site was compromissed, I set up the firewall rules to block all the services to the internet.

Finally, I removed the package again, then renamed /var/lib/subsonic as /var/lib/subsonic_old and reinstalled the subsonic package again.

The service came back with the default settings.

So I strongly suspect that my home server has been compromised, however I can't explain why my password worked with the Android App but not with the Browser App (no caps on by the way...), I still have the original conf files from this morning if somebody can perform a forencic analasys to find out if it's an application problem, but I preffer to play same and reinstall the whole OS.
