Fraction-of-a-second pause between tracks

Hi guys. Something that has bothered me for a while about SS (running v3.7) concerns much of my music collection...

I have many live shows recorded where the band doesn't pause from 1 song to the next, playback SHOULD be continuous, but my SS install pauses for just a fraction of a second while it grabs each next track.

If ver 4.x fixes this then that's a great reason for me to upgrade but if it is common to both versions 3.7 & 4.x then I was wondering if anyone has a way to 'correct' this.
