Anyone else seeing this? UPDATED

Postby djetch » Fri Aug 12, 2011 3:33 pm

Stats as of today:

664 artists
709 albums
8,749 songs
348.54 GB (~ 5,414 hours)

never have more than 2 or 3 people on at once...

I'll be listing to whatever I have put into my queue. Then I realize that I'm not listening to some random album and not what I was listening to a second ago. Head over to the Subsonic tab and sure enough I'm not listening to some random album. It has completely cleared my previous playlist and replaced it with the album.

At first I thought I was going crazy, but it's happened enough now that I'm not crazy.

Further more it happens on both my linux box at home running Chromium and while at work on a WinXP box using regular Chrome.

Box info:
Win 7 64bit
quad-core
4GB Ram
1TB internal drive (subsonic & music are on this drive)

Sounds like someone is choosing your player from the list and changing the playlist. Who else has admin rights?

No one. I'm the only Admin account.

Also, I want to say that it has happened when there was no one else on it.

In fact it just happened again and the only other user on is stalled out, hasn't listened in 50+ mins.

Let me try with Firefox and see what happens...

...and now in firefox (on my work WinXP) box, it did it again. Completely jumped to another album, clearing the current playlist and replacing it.

I am now testing with another player, as I normally use the same player everywhere. Right now though it would appear to be something wrong with the server. I know the box rebooted a couple nights ago due to a windows update.

Also I have (previously) bumped up the RAM limit to 256 from 100 just for the heck of it.

Interesting...different player played a whole album without reproducing the issue.

Testing further....still using firefox for the time being.
