Android Client Not Showing List of Songs

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post! Although I'm not new to Subsonic, I've only just signed up for the forums. For a few days I've been wrestling with (what is in my nonprofessional opinion) an unusual issue so I finally decided it was time to ask for help. I have not seen anything similar to this already posted so here goes:

The Android app on my phone (running Android 2.3.4) will connect to the server and show a list of artists. After choosing an artist, it shows a list of albums. But, after choosing an album, it will not show a list of songs to choose for playback. In other words I can't listen to music, only see a list of artists and albums in my library. All that happens is the app says it has a network error, tries to reconnect four times and fails. However, if I open the Android browser and go to my ".subsonic.org" page, I can log in and play any song. All this happens whether I have wifi on or not.

The server is a Windows 7 desktop, runs Subsonic 4.5, connects using a Linksys wireless card, has a static local IP, and has port 8181 is forwarded to it (changed from port 8080 in hopes it would work again). I did not check the checkbox for UPnP, I've manually forwarded the port to the IP address.

I'm hoping someone here can provide a solution or at least have some vague idea as to what might be happening here?

I do not not have an android device so I cannot help but can you post your SS log showing what is happening on the server .
I am presuming that the Android app did work before?

I pasted the piece of the log that is shown in the About section. Nothing seemed out of place to me, just some issues with the tags. Maybe its more important than that, though.

The app did work before but I had a completely different computer. After I upgraded, I assigned the new computer the same IP and the old computer was unplugged and put in a closet. That's when the troubles started. At first the app would only sometimes not show the songs but then I guess something happened and before I knew it the app was not loading songs pretty much all the time.

I should note that if I refresh the app constantly for a few minutes, the songs will show up eventually. The songs will also load if the app is on shuffle. It's only when I want to choose a song that the app decides not to work.

In case anyone has this issue, it appears to have been solved by switching from a wireless connection to a wired one. For some reason this made a difference. Subsonic is awesome again.
