Choppy video playback (buffering)

Troubleshooting Steps: (A list of the steps you have taken to try to solve this problem yourself)

Playback Application and version: (The end application that you are using to stream from Subsonic)

Using the built in java video player on the subsonic webpage. The browser is firefox 8 beta.

Subsonic Version: (copy/paste from the "About" screen in the Subsonic Web Interface)
Server Version: (copy/paste from the "About" screen in the Subsonic Web Interface)

About Subsonic
Version 4.5 (build 2384) – August 10, 2011
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_20, Linux (44.2 MB / 91.6 MB)

Hardware Platform: (Windows, Mac, Linux, NAS Model, etc... Invclude version if applicable)

The server is a Core2Duo @ 2.6GHz running on a P5N32-E motherboard with 4GB of memory running Ubuntu 11.04 server.

Java Memory Limit: (Windows: found in the Subsonic Agent in the taskbar)

I set /etc/default/subsonic to use 256Mb. If your talking about something else I don't understand.

Problem Filename: (If you are having difficulty with a particular file, please include it's name)
Output from ffmpeg -i: (If you open a command prompt and type 'ffmpeg -i <filename>' what is the output? Ideally put this in a "code" block)

No particular file problem. Seems to happen on a lot of videos.

Last ten log file lines: (The last ten or so lines copied and pasted from the About screen in the Subsonic Web Interface. Ideally these will be in a CODE block as well.)
