Android app not finding any media

Hello,

I've been using subsonic from my ubuntu server and various desktop clients for a while with no problems.

I recently got an android phone and installed the android subsonic app and connected it to my server successfully, but when I try to find music to play, it just keeps saying 'no media found'. What might be the cause for this? No obvious errors or messages in the server logs to help, either.
