Linux Subsonic Retains Old IP Connections...Not releasing.

I went to bed and turned my android phone power off. So it was off about 6 hours. I woke up and went on my Gentoo Linux System which is dedicated/solely for Subsonic. Just for the heck of it I did a lsof -i and I saw two IP connections established to my system. One of them had tmobile name on them(my cell phone provider). So, it looks like Subsonic is not letting go past ended connections. Why is this and what can be done about it?
