Audio out of sync while playing video on Android

Sorry if this topic has been posted before, but I couldn't find anything after searching the forums.

I have an Ubuntu 11.10 server running Subsonic 4.6.beta1 (build 2508). Everything works perfectly via web browsers for PC. Music works perfectly via the Android client.

Streaming video, however, has a problem. The audio slowly goes out of sync while the choppiness of the video increases. I've tried many different bitrates to no avail, and I've tried accessing it on WiFi directly with a local IP to no avail. I've run out of things to try. I would love to get rid of Plex once and for all, but I need to get this one little aspect working. Please help!
