force close on xoom family edition

Hi all.
Licensed user.
server - Ubuntu 11.10 subsonic 3.5. (working fine)
Roku client works fine
Android client on gingerbread 2.3 works fine droid2 global
Android client on honeycomb 3.1 locks up and force closes on Xoom family edition.

It seems that it works when first installed, but once any other program has used the audio, subsonic will not work.
It connects to the server correctly, tests connection OK, reads directories and changes, and drills down to albums and songs. Once either the play button or play now button is clicked it locks up.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I have confired that the app works from a complete fresh install, but will not work once another application has accessed the xooms sound API. I tried using the 3.3 beta in hopes it would work but it behaved the same. Please advise. Thanks.
