Postby mts » Thu Dec 22, 2011 10:36 am

Im sorry for bother you guys when i think this is some really simple thing but just cant figure it out.
I got some error message when i logged into subsonic service it was just 'error' and ok button there. So i tried to restart it but it stops ok but not start.

[root@xxxxxx ~]# service subsonic restart
Stopping subsonic ... [ OK ]
Starting subsonic ...
Started Subsonic [PID 20234, /var/subsonic/subsonic_sh.log]

[root@xxxxxx ~]#

And this is all that does. Tried to read log too but im so newbie with this linux stuff that i just dont get it.

This is only warning there, rest is just '[MAIN] INFO' -lines. So any idea if this is the reason why this is not starting? And how this ehcache works or where i can configure it?

Again sorry if these are stupid newbie questions but any help would be really appreciated.

And now it just started working on my browser even if i dint do anything. Stupid me.

Also i notice that i forgot version etc numbers.
Version 4.4 (build 2169) – February 6, 2011
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_20, Linux (70.4 MB / 91.8 MB)

But im still interested what happened and what would be good trick to prevent this from happening in the future?
Probably update would not hurt? And im still curious about that cache thing...

How long did it take until it started to work? the server takes a little while to create the databases and do what it does .

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.
