Could not get JDBC Connection; File input/output error

I get this error all the time which forces me to restart the freenas server:
Could not get JDBC Connection; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: File input/output error: /var/subsonic/db/subsonic.log

I have a 100gb hard drive as the root partition, so there should be plenty of space. Admittedly, I am not very strong at Freebsd/linux to really track this issue down. Any thoughts would be appreciated as I have tried other suggestions in the forums.
