Clean Search index

Postby toif » Mon Jan 09, 2012 3:24 pm

Hello all,

I have subsonic installed on QNAP TS-410 NAS and working fine so far, except the search function. When I try to search for anything, either it gives no result or show some results referring to very old folder structure. I have currently "music/_P/Pearl Jam/[2000] Binaural/01 - Pearl Jam - Insignificance.mp3" like folder structure. I tried manually update search index from settings but didn't work for me. I also tried deleting Lucene folder but didn't work either. So, how am I gonna rebuild a clean search index for my database. Which folders I should remove and rescan?

thanks.

The subsonic##.index file is the main database for the music records.
If you delete that and the lucene folders that should give you a clean slate to work with.

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.
