internal 404 error after installing

Problem Description: I installed subsonic and when I go to localhost:4040 I get a 404 error with stuff
Troubleshooting Steps: I restarted the subsonic process and that is it.

Subsonic Version: subsonic-4.6
Server Version: not sure
Hardware Platform: xubuntu 11.10
Java Memory Limit: 100
Problem Filename: not sure
Output from ffmpeg -i: not installed

First thing I would do is a full reset of the host machine. Restarting the subsonic process doesn't always do the trick.
