FLAC files not playing unless I skip ahead in playing track

Postby keanon » Thu Feb 09, 2012 9:52 pm

Using web interface. Chrome's newest stable version.
Tried to upgrade Flash also.

If I don't skip into the track, it will eventually go to the next song on the album, which may or may not play.

Subsonic 4.6 running on a Win7 box.

Any ideas?

Log sample of song that won't play until I skip into it.

Having had the recent Chrome update I thought I would do a test and SS appears to playing flac files (even downsampled to 128k) just fine.
My transcode string is exactly the same as yours so I cannot see what the problem can be :?

Flash v 11.1.102.55
Chrome 17.0.963.46 (Official Build 119351) m

Could this perhaps have to do with the file tagging?
Some FLACs seem to play fine.

Still dealing with this issue. Won't play SOME FLAC files in any browser. Works fine on Android player.
Any ideas?
I'm going to user Traktor to remove the tags it made into my library and test again.

Traktor, I believe, writes specfic (non ID3 standard tag info) to your files if you allow it.
Remove those and see if that works ok.
