Scrobbling multiple artist songs to Last.fm?

I'm not sure if this is even possible, but here goes. The built-in audio scrobbler on Subsonic works pretty great, most of the time. The trouble is when I'm listening to tracks by multiple artists. I manage my music with MediaMonkey, so I use semicolons (;) to separate artists in tags. Trouble is, Subsonic scrobbles the song to Last.fm using a slash, which makes the artist unrecognizable.

For example:
My song tags: Queen; David Bowie - Under Pressure
Subsonic scrobbles: Queen/David Bowie - Under Pressure

As a result, Last.fm doesn't recognize the artist "Queen/David Bowie". Is there any way to get Subsonic to automatically scrobble songs that have multiple artists separated by a semicolon by using a & symbol instead? (i.e. "Queen & David Bowie")
