Korean characters not displaying thus unable to play

Postby leong » Sun Apr 01, 2012 10:59 pm

I am running the latest version server (4.6) on Synology box (DSM 4.0). I have searched the forum for a solution but can't seem to get it to work. All I see is those black diamond question marks as per below. The file cannot be played on the web interface, iSub (iOS) & Subsonic (Android). Any assistance is truly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry for the lack of response but the only members who could help would be those that are using your particular locale settings. :(
And they appear to either very quiet or non-existent (which makes you unique I suppose :? )

its ok mate, thanks for your concern. Well after renaming those "files" into sequential files i.e. 1,2,3 as per track number, the id tags works brilliantly and the korean characters set were displayed without a hitch. Before I am able to browse the files in the folder via (AFP/Samba) but just could not see the files in subsonic web interface. You are probably right the locale settings could have been stuffed. Anyway, I am loving it and ditch iTunes a long time ago... :)
