change default art when no cover found

Postby jeffpetersen » Sat Feb 07, 2009 9:15 pm

Hi,

Thanks very much for the excellent work! I just wonder if it's possible to change the default art displayed when no folder.jpg or embedded art is found?

I searched the forum and poked around in the Subsonic folder, but didn't find anything.

You can make a jpg for each map as you like, name it folder.jpg, ready!

Thanks for replying. What I meant was, where in the Subsonic install folder does the default cover art reside? I would like to change it to something else.

EDIT: In case it matters, I used the installer option for Windows.

In the folder

\subsonic\jetty\webapp\WEB-INF\classes\net\sourceforge\subsonic\controller

there is a file called default_cover.jpg

I have never replaced it myself, but I would assume swapping that file out and then restarting subsonic will take care of your issue.
