4.6 Listing bug?

Postby quatermass » Mon May 28, 2012 9:39 am

I'm running Subsonic 4.6 (build 2583) – 06 December 2011
on a Windows 7 Pro machine for some time.
(Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.6.0_30, Windows 7 (48.9 MB / 95.7 MB))

However recently I've noticed an odd listing error that Subsonic performs on one of my files.

It is labelled '28 Days Later.avi' on Explorer and yet Subsonic lists it as 'Days Later'. Kind of expected to see it listed as '28 Days Later'!

It is listed in numeric order as the one just before it is '2001 - A Space Odyssey'.

I've tried renaming the file as '28_Days Later.avi' and forcing a new search index within Subsonic. That gets it listed as '28_Days Later'.

If I try '2002 Days Later', that works. But if I try '28 28 Days Later' I get 'Days Later'.

Anyone know how to sort this? :?:

Here is a screen shot of my settings.

Kind of puzzled! :D

Yep that's SS being helpful by removing the track #s from the file list :|
Trying changing the space between 28 and Days to a "hard space" eg alt-0160

Thanks. I'll certainly try that!

Shame it can't tell a audio file from a video file! :D
