shuffle playlist? (4.7)

Is there a way to shuffle a playlist in 4.7 before it is played? Given the new way in which playlists are handled, one must first Play the playlist, stop the external player, shuffle the playlist, and then play again.

It is a bit strange that it doesn't just put the playlist in the lower panel when it loads. That would solve the problem.
