Shortcut Issues

Not sure this should be "Help" or "Feature Request" or "General" forum post:

But my question, is why don't shortcuts seem to work properly with many third party apps?

I can't seem to get anything from my shortcut directories to appear for example when using Mini-Sub for Chrome or My Music To Me for Sonos.
Is this a limitation of the API?

I'd really like to keep my shortcuts as the represent a good percentage of my music and convenient.
