I can say that setting the LC_ALL fixed my problem

Hi all,
I had the same problem, and, as suggested, edited /etc/profile
to export LC_ALL-en_US
then i had to (from http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/debian ... oblem.html ) :

apt-get remove locales
apt-get install locales

twice!!

then
dpkg-reconfigure locales

/etc/init.d/tomcat5 stop
rm -r /usr/share/tomcat5/webapps/subsonic
/etc/init.d/tomcat5 start

.. reloaded the page a few times

and the problem was fixed! Therefire, I guess it /was/ a locale problem.
