Android Application 'remote control' not woking

I am running Subsonic on Ubuntu 12.04 and Subsonic Application on a Android tablet. I am able to stream music to the tablet but cannot use 'remote control'. The Ubuntu/Subsonic and Android/Subsoic is on the same LAN. No router or Firewall.

It look like the application is starting to play a song but after 4 seconds it restarts the song. But actually it does not play anything.

I have tried it on both Subsonic 4.6 and 4.7.
