Upgrade JWPlayer and getting subtitles

Hi, looks like my subsonic is only using version 5.10. Is it possible to upgrade it to the latest 6.10? I've tried adding it to the flash dir and changing videoPlayer.jsp to use jw-player-6.10 instead of 5.10 but it just says it's missing the configuration when I try and play any video.

Also, is there any way of getting embedded subtitles from my mkvs?

I don't suppose SS is gonna have an html5 player soon is it? I'd like to be able to access the web interface from my tablet
