Songs sorting incorrectly in 4.7

I've upgraded to 4.7 recently, and I've noticed that unless a song is tagged as being a certain number on an album it gets sorted alphabetically. This is a problem because any song that I have ripped from a CD is in .wav format, and as a result cannot be tagged. In 4.6, the songs were still sorted correctly, as they all have the track number at the front of the track name and Subsonic used that for sorting. Is there any way that I can get it to sort like it used to, or should I just go back to 4.6?

Why on earth would you leave the files in WAV format? There are many lossless compression formats that are WAAAY better at conserving disk space with exactly the same quality, and they support tags...
Never understood why a wav file would exist except for intermediate editing steps...
