mkv files buffer every 3-5 seconds.

I've installed subsonic ( unregistered version )but i have a problem. WHenever i watch a mkv file 720p or 1080p using jplayer the video will buffer every 3-5 seconds throughout the video. All other avi files play ok.

Im testing at home from my home pc and i have a very fast connection (wired).

Anyone know why? Do i need to donate to activate the full features? Please respond,
