Random Albums (iSub)

I’m having issues with the random album function of the i-sub app on the iphone, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the modified version of subsonic server that i saw featured on here however I had issues with setting the bespoke url with that so switched back to the original version, on every version that I’ve had this option has not worked. I’ve added a friends server to the app and the function works correctly on there, pulling my hair out a bit here, does anyone have any suggestions to get this working?

Does the random album work ok in subsonic web-browser?
If so and the problem is only in the isub app I would suggest posting in their forum http://isubapp.com/forum

hi thanks for your response, I have just checked and the random album feature also does not display on the web browser server either...should i try an earlier version of subsonic ?

for those having the same problem, the issue resolved itself within 24 hours.

With 4.7 you have to give the server some time to finish indexing, even if the list of artists shows up in the left column. I found the same problem having no random albums but it eventually started working.
