Add to playlist/favorites

Postby dtucker01 » Wed Jan 23, 2013 3:55 pm

Is there a way to mark a song as a favorite? Also, is there a way to add a song to a playlist without clearing out the whole "queue" and have to start over adding back the songs? It would be nice to just click a song as a favorite and play that favorite queue or even add a song to a playlist without clearing the queue and starting over especially when you want to add a song to multiple playlists.

Thanks

That's what the star is for :?

Tick the selection box next to the track - then in the "More Actions" box - select "Add to playlist"

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

In the web browser there is a star? I'm not seeing it.

I see that but it clears out your whole list and you have to start over.

Not sure. I haven't upgraded in a long time. I installed on my server a long time ago. Will the version on the server matter on what is displayed on the web client?

Errr! Yes - the star feature, for instance, was introduced in SS 4.7

If you click the about tab it will tell you.

I'll upgrade and see. I didn't know whatever version of subsonic sitting on my server affects the web interface. I thought it was just an application sitting on my server encoding my files to send them across the wire (web, phone app). So, when I upgrade the application sitting on my home server my web interface will have new features?

Works like a charm now. My only question I have now is if there is a way to edit a playlist. I clicked on a playlist, loaded it, and when I click the remove it doesn't modify the playlist just what is playing. I can click save as playlist but it creates a whole new playlist. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks
