Artists not sorted alphabetically

This is really annoying and could do with a quick fix.

I have my media in /mp3/Artists/<letter>/<artist>/<album> for example /mp3/Artists/D/Dire Straits/Communique
Wen I do go Artists then D I see a list of the directories but they are not in alphabetical order.

Uncheck Settings->General->Sort albums by year.
