In the android app is there a way to look through my library by artist instead of by folder name? most media and streaming applications and programs have this and its a fairly simple thing since files have all that data stored in them, so I'm thinking I just missed something that I'm not seeing. Because if I lets say look at recently added, under the folder name it labels the artist, so it has to have some kind of categorization system for this.
I know that I could reorganize my library to have albums inside of artist folders... but I have about 2,600 folders and have been just throwing folders into my music folder for years because programs always categorize it for you.

If you're library is well tagged (including Album artist for compilation albums etc), you might be interested in this: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=10587

It allows browsing your library by artist (taken from tags) in the Android client.
