Random play question

I tried to look but couldn't find anything for my exact question so i thought i'd ask on here.

Is there a way to make the player play random music without it creating a playlist with a limited number of songs on it? ... as in when i hit random it plays continuously through all songs in my library until it has played every song without having to recreate a new list. i don't like that after a while it no longer chooses a song at random to play from my library.


Also, on my android app when i hit the random play button it no longer creates a playlist at all. it did once and when that list was exhausted it no longer would create a new one. and i cleared the existing list and now it won't create a new one at all. any ideas?

that is most unfortunate. do you happen to know if this feature is being worked on for future updates? so far it's the only thing i find subsonic to be lacking
